GR65 is a dual action (tilt & turn) window from the GlasFëns fiberglass series, built on a 65 mm pultruded fiberglass frame with a minimal-frame profile for narrow sightlines and maximum glass area. One handle motion tilts the sash inward for secure ventilation; a second swings it fully inward for easy cleaning and egress. Shown here in its double glazed (DGU) configuration.
GLASFËNS GR65 DUAL ACTION WINDOW is built from pultruded fiberglass profiles with a 65 mm basic depth. Fiberglass conducts heat at a small fraction of the rate of aluminum, so the frame needs no separate thermal break, and because it is made largely of glass fibers it expands and contracts at nearly the same rate as the glazing it holds. Seals stay tight through temperature swings, and the material does not warp, corrode, or rot. Profiles are finished with durable factory-applied coatings, with dual interior/exterior color available.
Triple glazed tempered glass is standard on all GlasFëns products, with low-emissivity coatings and warm edge spacers. The GR65 minimal frame is shown in its double glazed (DGU) configuration; triple glazing is available where a project calls for it. Vacuum insulated glass options are also available across the GlasFëns range.
German multi-point locking hardware is standard. A multi-point system locks the sash or leaf to the frame around its full perimeter, improving security, pulling the weather seals tight on all sides, and helping prevent warping even on tall units. Concealed hinge options keep the hardware out of sight for clean lines.
